The story
The client had just completed a newly constructed home and wanted the interiors to feel warm, contemporary and timeless. Their vision was clear: start with the living room and create a modern, cosy space that would eventually set the tone for the rest of the house.
They loved the clean lines of modern contemporary design but wanted to avoid a space that felt cold or overly minimal. Wood flooring was already planned, so the design needed to complement its natural warmth while maintaining a refined, modern look.
The challenge
The main challenge was balancing clean, modern aesthetics with a cosy atmosphere while creating a design direction that could later extend throughout the entire house.
Our solution
We designed a modern, cosy living room using warm neutral tones, natural wood textures, soft furnishings and layered lighting. The result was a contemporary space that feels elegant, comfortable and timeless.
